This morning was pretty glorious.
The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and at Maxwell’s Grocery; the coffee beans were roasting.
Greeted as always by lovely smiling staff, I wandered through the shop, browsing all the products on offer.
Inside you’ll find organic fruit and veg, meat, dairy, Teas, candles, jams, honey, natural soaps….. the list goes on!
There is so much local goodness at Maxwell’s, I just love what they’re all about.
In the kitchen they offer wholesome food, fresh juices, and make a mean coffee at their pop-up style coffee counter.
Behind a glass cabinet, you will find a display of some of the most tempting (and delicious) raw treats. It’s hard to believe they’re basically guilt free, because they look sooooooo good.
Because anything that looks that good MUST be naughty right?…..

Oh. My. Gawd.
So many locals were stopping by for their morning coffee, knowing the staff by name, knowing each other, and wishing each other a good day before heading off to work. It made me happy.
The atmosphere is just so nice. I could sit there sipping on juice and coffee, grazing on delicious food all day…..
My next visit will have to be for lunch. I have it on good authority they do a great burger!
Make a visit, and see what all the fuss is about :)
